For me so important to remember that the message of Easter is the promise of Resurrection to new life from the death of depression through the tools of Forgiveness and Repentance and Gratitude. From this we learn to free ourselves from victimhood and live in our God Given Power of Health Joy and Abundance, have been sorely tested by events in the wider world but more particularly in my own building -so I offer you my latest efforts to transmute the poison into medIcine as my Buddhist friends express REPENT- Rethink Everything Positively Eliminate Negative Thought. Thank you for the miracle of watching your winter ”death” and spring renewal year by year. Thank you for your roots taking up the lifegiving water that flows underground downhill before it reaches the walls of our building. Thank you for your species being famous for the oxygen you give us by photosynthesis - turning carbon dioxide in our atmosphere into lifegiving oxygen Thank you for providing a perch and playground for the many species of wildlife in our garden , all the different birds and the squirrels Please forgive us for taking your life in the interests of those who feel they suffer from living in your shade and because the Council says you are just “the wrong tree in the wrong place” and has overturned the Tree Preservation Order obtained to keep you alive.
