LOVE CHANGES CELLS TO MAXIMISE ENERGY BY STOPPING TAKING OFFENCE

Greetings!

I have been amazed and felt very sad that there is so much needless unhappiness in the world caused simply by conflict in human relationships whether at the most personal level or on local, national or global scale. Whatever the level - it all boils down to the same basics- so I will start at the most personal level we can all relate to.

First , I had to learn that I am powerless over others - the only person I have power or control over is myself and how I respond rather than react to whatever anyone else may say or do. If I want to continue to blame or shame another I am in fact giving my own God Given power away. The same goes for allowing anyone to "make me" happy, sad, glad or mad. I am a powerful being in my own right as a child of God and recognise the same power in others - as the Buddhists say - Namaste - the God in me recognises/greets the God in You. Giving my power away is known as dependency or co-dependency - to be free is to recognise my interdependence - as John Donne said - No Man is an Island.- we are all part of the whole and inter-related hence brothers and sisters- sorry no biological gender allowed in this crazy world so we are all siblings created by the universal Power of Love - or God or Allah or Source or Higher Power or whatever name you give that Being a greater than which cannot be conceived -as St. Augustine put it. The Sufis say God has a thousand names - I think there are infinitely more. The ability to detach and stop taking things personally - doing which is called taking or finding offence in the actions or words of others by blaming another for the way I perceive/look at the world -- is to play the role of victim . Then having created my ogre which my ego fears so much I have to set about killing him/ bringing it to justice, making rules to contain it , belittle it by slander or libel - just as We witness poor Prince Harry and his wife do against the Royal Family and the Media - or Tony Blair against Saddam Hussein's non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction and a personal or global power battle/war ,gets started. Now its playing out in the Russia/Ukraine conflict in front of our eyes today. So how do we take the higher perspective, take the helicopter view, live the risen life, become the superior being described in the I Ching or the Dao or become the change we wish to see as Gandhi said??
