LOVE CHANGES CELLS TO MAXIMISE ENERGY AND WITH FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS

Greetings! Amongst all the other published media stories, true or untrue, well founded or baseless the one I wish to address today is FAITH The recent statistics re the numbers of avowed “Christians” in our UK society having become very reduced is , in my understanding, no reason for banning “God” from schools by removing the simple act of daily worship. Instead of removing acts of worship why not extend them to embrace the Universal God? Whatever a persons faith their adherence to it is sure to bring benefits to the faithful and to the society of the faithful. To me it is of no matter what the faith is – any faith is better than no faith. Christ teaches that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Sufis say that God has a thousand names – I believe it is many more than that because, as Christ taught, we are each and everyone of us a child of God and brothers and sisters created by one “heavenly” father – the God whose name is Love. The Buddhists in the simple act of greeting “Namaste” are lovingly acknowledging the existence of the Godhead in each and every one of us. The God in me greets the God in You. Giving a profound respect to all created life. Christ teaches that , just as the Buddhists also believe, the Kingdom of God lies within each and every one of us. God is not an external person in the sky who punishes "sinners" but a living loving creative energy present in our every day life.

To deny our children access to this wisdom is to consign them to the disempowerment of victimhood caused by fear of their external circumstances, the blame and shame society we are all too familiar with on social media with devastating effects on the mental health not only of children but adults also . And creating a sub-class of people unable to think for themselves outside the herd mentality. . Where have these poor souls got to turn to in their hours of need without faith that help is at hand if they ask (pray) for it? Cf the Jewish Psalms of David – I to the hills will lift mine eyes from whence doth come mine aid- and Psalm 23 – The King of Love my Shepherd is whose goodness faileth never- I nothing lack if I am his and he is mine for ever. The instillation of worship – (means giving worth – value) with thanks and praise at a young age is paramount as the Jesuits knew when they said “Give me a child to the age of seven and he is mine for the rest of his life”. This is because as the philosopher Locke said – our minds are an empty field – tabula rasa- until they are programmed by nature and nurture .

Childrens minds are an empty sponge that absorb non-judgementally all the messages they are presented with in life. So we are responsible for the programming of those minds whether it be with love or fear, confidence or victim mentality. I argue for the perfect Love that casts out all Fear – and daily practice of worship of an all loving father God who leads us in the paths of righteousness to fulfil our every need. Let us stop depriving our children of this experience of the benefits of Faith

I contend that All it takes is to transform daily worship in schools into an all embracing non-denominational experience in the recognition that there is only One God – no matter what we call him . and that faith is the key to all the blessings available in this Life.
