The comfort in those childhood words is constant - and so very sad that our politically correct, fearful and unloving society deprives children of the loving touch they need. Everyone knows that babies that are not touched fail to thrive - as do adults - especially all those grandparents and vulnerable people locked up away from their nearest and dearest during Covid scares..- while Downing Street parties. its not just physical touch that is needed but also acts and thoughts of kindness, blessing, love and forgiveness. the latter has been specially on my mind as the Management saga in my building continues. i have to remember to forgive those who trespass against me - for as Christ says " they know not what they do" - they are ignorant of the effect they are producing- and we are to forgive 70 times 7. i need to remember the act of forgiveness is a great act of love for myself as it releases me from the self imposed shackles of unfulfilled expectation, blame and victimhood. - to Rise again as the Phoenix rose from the ashes after bringing his dungballs out into the light. We are only as sick as our secrets.
